Under close questioning by BBC reporter Stephen Sackur on the “Hardtalk” program, Gerd Leipold, the retiring leader of Greenpeace, said the claim was wrong. “I don’t think it will be melting by 2030. … That may have been a mistake,” he said.
He may very well be trying to woo the girl because the girl belongs to a rich family and if tied with her, he will get financial security/boost.

There can be various reasons for a boy trying to woo a girl.

Our government is worried that one of such reason can be the religious conspiracy of Muslim boys to woo the Hindu girls specifically, in order to increase the population of Muslim community.

To counterattack and regulate any chances of such conspiracy, Maharastra government has directed CID to check whether Muslim boys are enticing Hindu girls as part of a ‘conspiracy’.

Obviously, in the state where the government police and investigating bureau failed to protect the civilians against regular terrorist attacks anytime, in a state where Mafia and criminals got ultimate opportunities, the state police can do nothing better than looking and intervening for the internal matters of the individuals and their love affairs.

Funny thing is, the Ministry announced this government step during the budget session of Maharashtra state. Obviously, they needed to imply how much money will be wasted (used?) for this extremely important operation.

Inter-religious marriage to increase population?
Whichever religion it may be, population can be increased phenomenally even with one marriage within the same religion; why go to the extent of wooing a girl of another religion for this?
Political games know no ends. And our jokers are innovative with their eccentric ideas. Unfortunately, agencies like the CID end up being pawns in the hands of clowns.
As they say, "I don't have an attitude problem; you have a perception problem!" The solution lies in our perspectives. We need to change our perspective from that of a concerned tax payer to that of a nonchalant nomad who gets to see some tamasha en route his journey.
Govt: I want you to investigate marriages.
CID: Which marriages?
Govt: All marriages in general, and inter-religious marriages in particular, and specifically, rural marriages!
CID: But what of our pending cases?
Govt: Dont worry, we will outsource your cases to the USA, where there are thousands of unemployed folks anyway!
CID: But we do not know anything about marriages at all!
Govt: Why? Are all CID officers bachelors?
CID: No, but we have forgotten our marriages ever since we got deputed to investigate political scams.
Govt: That's fine. All CID officers will be given free VCD's and DVD's of recorded weddings. Train your officers on various rituals over the next one month.
CID: But then, we do not have sufficient staff strength to focus on all marriages. We are severely understaffed!
Govt: We'll include the CBI, the BSF, the CRPF, and the Black Cats also. Will that be enough?
CID: Even then, who will train us on these extremely risky, unchartered waters of marriages?
Govt: From the coming month, all your HQ's will be shifted to Temples, Mosques and Wedding Halls. We'll get a special task force from Shaadi.com, Bharat Matrimony.com and a few other marriage portals to train you for this project. And, ask all of your wives to report to duty from tomorrow morning. We'll get to the roots of this conspiracy!
CID:!:O

Rationality

Rationality, is purposive behavior, whether or not the means chosen to attain the purpose are appropriate or not. So, "purposive" and "rational" are essentially synonyms.

Even if the means chosen are not the most efficient ones or fail to secure the end at all, the consequences of an attempt to use such means do not change.

To lit a fire is rational, as it is a purposive action, purpose being to remove the darkness.

Yet, why will you lit a fire if you can simply switch on the electric bulb, (CFC now a days).

The answer to that "why" is dependent on situations. Edison invented electric bulb, not the rationality.

The Kerosene lamp in a villagers hut may not produce the exactly equal flashes the street lights of a metropolitan city produces, yet it produces light enough to defeat the darkness, and it shows the purposive mind of the villager.

Rationality, does not necessarily means simple, it can be wayward of simplicity.

Honour Killing or Killing the Honour?

Four of her neighbours burnt a 16 year old village girl alive while her father was out for the alleged suspicion that the girl had some sort of physical intimacy with a boy.
http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/Cities/16-yr-old-girl-burnt-alive-in-Ghaziabad/articleshow/4308359.cms
Such is the moral policing of the commune.
The points to be raised are nothing new.
Is having a love-relation a crime? We do possess rational faculty, our potential to judge what is right and what wrong is, what reality is and what is manipulations, yet we are prone to err, and that is why it is every Individual's responsibility to keep a keen eye on his standpoints and avoid the "herd-instincts" to take over his personal ability to judge.
We discussed how group psychology affects the crowd mentality that can easily be misdirected to create havoc in forms of riots, terrorism, aggression and other forms of crimes. "The Crowd Mentality and Terrorism"
Yet, the group psychology not only is used to perpetuate some wrong, many a times the group psychology and manipulations also are used to avoid unnecessary clashes of choices and attain the desired results in best possible way that can be achieved through persuasions and propaganda.
"Propaganda is the deliberate, systematic attempt to shape perceptions, manipulate cognitions, and direct behaviour to achieve a response that furthers the desired intent of the propagandist." —Garth S. Jowett and Victoria O'Donnell
In a democracy, where majority rule decides the policies to be put forward and accepted, the Propaganda and manipulation proves out to be necessary and inalienable tool for the politics and politicians.
Edward Bernays, popularly known as the father of public relations techniques explicitly explained the necessity of manipulations and propaganda in the Democratic system. In his book Propaganda, he mentions—
The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government, which is the true ruling power of our country. ...We are governed, our minds are moulded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of. This is a logical result of the way in which our democratic society is organized. Vast numbers of human beings must cooperate in this manner if they are to live together as a smoothly functioning society. ...In almost every act of our daily lives, whether in the sphere of politics or business, in our social conduct or our ethical thinking, we are dominated by the relatively small number of persons...who understand the mental processes and social patterns of the masses. It is they who pull the wires, which control the public mind.
Being the close nephew of Sigmund Freud, Edward Bernays was well aware of the psychoanalysis and group psychology.
Although in a democracy, where the certain individual rights can be maintained by means of property rights, freedom of speech and expressions etc, we can assume that manipulating masses in order to rule over them is not that easy, yet we forget that since our early childhood, whatever we use, eat, drink, learns and allowed to accept is closely knitted by the same governing system and that provide enough indoctrination for the citizen to accept the governing system without any difficulty, inquiry or a surge to know "Are we victims of the Propaganda"?
In a free market with no government interference, this possibility of indoctrination reduces to minimum as any propaganda can be counter debated and exposed freely, free market provide the common citizen a way to create new choices too so that the spectrum of available solutions may increase.
On the other hand, in a government controlled monopolistic system, no matter it may be democracy, the lack of options and inability of the system to provide new options often creates hurdle and extreme problems regarding propaganda and manipulations.
Nazism was a propaganda accepted by Germans democratically, and Hitler besieged the democracy too with the success of that propaganda.
Most of the policies put forth by the politicians for the electorate are basically tuned up by certain propagandas and the politicians do their best to manipulate the electorate in order to win their confidence.
It obviously becomes the responsibility of the individual than, to attain the self-knowledge, to understand and accept the importance of rational selfishness, his motto of existence and use his rational faculty to decide for what is real and what is an ill-propaganda.
In a government controlled system where the system decides what we should learn, how we should be educated, it becomes difficult for an Individual to actually analyze how free he is. Often he fails to question the decisions made for him by the invisible rulers and accepts the rule as the only possible way, often he turns out to be eulogizing those regulations without actually surmising the reason behind them or checking whether they make any sense.
The heard-instinct and group psychology works well over such indoctrinating system and the individual accepts the dominance of the ruling few, as the only possible way.
Yet, not all accepts the defeat and some innovative minds do dare to question, search and find out the realities and expose the truth based on reason. Often we call them iconoclasts. Society never accepts the Iconoclasts and their entrepreneurial innovations, the society victimizes the iconoclasts and terms the new options searched through as treason, treachery, heresy and anti-social they term the iconoclast as anarchist, the enemy of system. Yet, history is evident that only the iconoclast who dares to challenge the majority against the ill-beliefs, and denies accepting the popular ways of indoctrinations, provides the stimulus for the society to prosper, flourish and liberate itself further.

The Courtroom!

Prosecuting Attorney: (to the jury) I solemnly ask of every man who hears this case, to let his own mind pronounce a verdict upon it. You have heard the testimony of the state's witnesses. The confession of Peter Keating (Who Roark drew the plans for) has made clear that Howard Roark is a ruthless egoist who has destroyed Cortlandt Homes for his own selfish motive. The issue which you are to decide is the crucial issue of our age. Has Man any right to exist if he refuses to serve society. Let your verdict give us the answer. (to the judge) The state rests.
  Judge: The defence may proceed.

Roark: (to judge) Your honour, I shall call no witnesses. This will be my testimony and my summation.

  Judge: Take the oath.

Court clerk: Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help you God?

Roark: (to clerk) I do. (to the jury) Thousands of years ago the first man discovered how to make fire. He was probably burnt at the stake he'd taught his brothers to light. But he left them a gift they had not conceived. And he lifted darkness off the earth. Throughout the centuries there were men who took first steps down new roads armed with nothing but their own vision.

The great creators, the thinkers, the artists, the scientists, the inventors stood alone against the men of their time. Every new thought was opposed, every new invention was denounced. But the men of unborrowed vision went ahead. They fought, they suffered and they paid, but they won. No creator was prompted by a desire to please his brothers. His brothers hated the gift he offered. His truth was his only motive. His work was his only goal. His work - not those who used it. His creation - not the benefits others derived from it. The creation which gave form to his truth.

He held his truth above all things and against all men. He went ahead whether others agreed with him or not. With his integrity as his only banner. He served nothing and no one. He lived for himself and only by living for himself was he able to achieve the things which are the glory of mankind. Such is the nature of achievement. Man cannot survive except through his mind. He comes on earth unarmed. His brain is his only weapon. But the mind is an attribute of the individual. There is no such thing as a collective brain. The man who thinks must think and act on his own. The reasoning mind cannot work under any form of compulsion. It cannot be subordinated to the needs, opinions or wishes of others. It is not an object of sacrifice.

The creator stands on his own judgment. The parasite follows the opinions of others. The creator thinks, the parasite copies. The creator produces, the parasite loots. The creator's concern is the conquest of nature. The parasite's concern is the conquest of Man. The creator requires independence - he neither serves nor rules. He deals with men by free exchange and voluntary choice. The parasite seeks power. He wants to bind all men together in common action and common slavery.

He..(the prosecuting attorney)...He claims that Man is only a tool for the use of others. That he must think as they think, act as they act, and live in selfless, joyless servitude to any need but his own. Look at history - Everything we have, every great achievement has come from the independent work of some independent mind. Every horror and destruction came from attempts to force men into a herd of brainless, soulless robots; without personal rights, without personal ambition, without will, hope or dignity. It is an ancient conflict. It has another name - the individual against the collective.

Our country, the noblest country in the history of men, was based on the principle of individualism. The principle of Man's inalienable rights. It was a country where a man was free to seek his own happiness. To gain and produce, not to give up and renounce. To prosper, not to starve. To achieve, not to plunder. To hold as his highest possession, a sense of his personal value. And as his highest virtue, his self-respect. Look at the result. That is what the collectivists are now asking you to destroy. As much of the earth has been destroyed. I am an architect. I know what is to come by the principle on which it is built.

We are approaching a world in which I cannot permit myself to live. My ideas are my property. They were taken from me by force, by breach of contract. No appeal was left to me. It was believed that my work belonged to others - to do with as they pleased. But they had a claim upon me, without my consent. That it was my duty to serve them, without choice or reward. Now you know why I dynamited Cortlandt. I designed Cortlandt. I made it possible. I destroyed it. I agreed to design it for the purpose of seeing it built as I wished. That was the price I set for my work. I was not paid.

My building was disfigured at the whim of others who took all the benefits of my work and gave me nothing in return. I came here to say that I do not recognize anyone's right to one minute of my life. Nor to any part of my energy, nor to any achievement of mine. No matter who makes the claim! It had to be said. The world is perishing from an orgy of self-sacrificing. I came here to be heard. In the name of every man of independence still left in the world. I wanted to state my terms. I do not care to work or live on any others. My terms are: a man's right to exist for his own sake. (Roark sits down)

He was found not guilty by the jury on the criminal charges.

(original link-- The Fountainhead)

"Don't help me or serve me, but let me see it once, because I need it. Don't work for my happiness, my brothers - show me yours - show me that it is possible - show me your achievement - and the knowledge will give me courage for mine."

Private Security System and IPL

India is going through an interesting moment.
Recently, The IPL committee commissioner announced the dates and venue for the upcoming cricket matches of IPL. Thoroughly independent private bodies under the headship of BCCI or ICL and now this new IPL arrange cricket in India.
The interesting twist in the tale of cricket is, now the dates of IPL matches are clashing directly with the dates of Indian General Elections.
Today in morning when the current Home Minister of India Mr. P. Chidambaram gave statements about the inability of government to provide security for the proceedings of IPL matches and exhorted the commissioner of IPL Mr. Lalit Modi to change the schedule of IPL and postpone it to re-scheduled after general elections in India, everybody though Lalit Modi will be forced out to agree with the proposal to postpone IPL.
Yet, in the evening, Mr Modi suggested new schedule in which he changed the dates but not the period. That is, now IPL matches will go on simultaneously with elections, although no match will be held in any city on the date of voting in that city.
Still this new schedule does not solve the problem of security as central government and state government have clearly denied to take responsibility of security for IPL matches. The reason being, a big chunk of security services officials will be busy in providing security for various politicians, election workers, officers, electoral booths, etc. As Indian elections will remain under the threat of terrorist attacks and so will be the IPL, government find itself unable to provide security for both of the ventures simultaneously, and that is twist of the tale.

Mr. Modi has accepted that it will be difficult for government to provide desired security, yet he is not ready to change the dates!
So the question is, how will he manage and what is he planning for providing security for the players, grounds, ground workers, match referees, umpires, audience and the cheerleaders?
Now that is a big call specially when just 3 months ago Mumbai faced extremely dangerous terrorist attack, how will he able to provide security to his seven chosen venues of Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Chennai all?
How will manage to gain the trust of the players to play?
Well he is trying to manage the task with the help of private security forces.
It is a difficult task. Yet I feel that if it really happens and Mr Modi succeeds in inaugurating and completing the IPL cricket series without the help of Indian central or state government police and security services, than it will be a new era of libertarianism in India, the era of private security services.
After Taj Attack, even Ratan Tata announced that he will be looking forward to create a private security net much better and efficient than what we get right now.
If now Mr. Modi succeeds in finishing the IPL series at the scheduled time in same period when Indians will be voting for the new government, people will start realizing that government security system is not the only way to provide security for the common man, and that will create a platform for a strong, reasonable and practical solution for the monopoly of government in police and security systems.
Mr. Modi is talking with current private security providers in India and he is also planning to engage German and France and other European private security services to help in completing the task.
I know it will be extremely difficult for Modi and whole BCCI and IPL management to complete this task, yet if anyhow they succeeds, it will give a strong reason for Indian libertarians to stage a revolt against monopoly of state in security system and raise the issue of privatization of security forces.

Pakistan, cricket, terrorism and conspiracy

<meta equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; General Hameed Gul said that India was trying to weaken Pakistan, India wanted to declare Pakistan a terrorist state and the firing on Sri Lankan cricket team is a part of that conspiracy.(more on Times of India)

This is not the first time when Pakistan tried to colour its fallacies, intelligence failure and security lapses as some conspiracy against Pakistan. Even Indian government do the same. It seems like a cats fight, Indian government will blame Pakistan for every Indian security failure, and Pakistan government will blame India for its own security failure.

Conspiracy has become cliché, too much overused.

Yet all these incidents significantly shows one reality and that is, governments are seriously unable to protect common citizens, even they cannot protect a foreign delegate. Now since in a government ruled state, there is monopoly of government over the security system, they seriously lack any competitive check for their own failures and blaming the other countries becomes a hide out for them.

The common man in the absence of any better alternative find himself forced to believe such blames and that further infuriates the environment, creating further grounds of discontent, disbelief and hatred.

It is not hard to realize that the terrorist attack on the Sri Lankan team simply suggest that the security net was thoroughly breached by terrorists, they had information about the route through which team will be headed to the Gaddaffi cricket ground, they exactly knew how much security guards will be there with the Sri Lankan team. Anyone can surmise that the terrorists has all prior knowledge and hence they were able to plan the attack in such a managed way, that is, the terrorists have connections within the security services of Pakistan too.

In case of Hotel Taj attack also, we simply cannot rule out the possibilities of help for the terrorists to implement their attacking plan from within Indian borders. Furthermore, just like Pakistan had prior information that some terrorists may try to attack and harm the Sri Lankan team, Indian intelligence and government had information about a possible terrorist attack at specific points of Mumbai, and yet the intelligence and security services failed.

The way Indian and Pakistan government blames each other for conspiracies and support for terrorist attacks just strengthen the illusion that a country can stabilize and progress only at the cost of the failure of other state. Now that is a blatant lie.

If the neighbouring states of India remain in troubled waters, even India cannot maintain peace, individual liberty, security and progress, and this is true for other neighbouring states too.

The very basic and simple idea of cumulative progress is the environment of peace, justice, individual liberty and security within whole of the Indian sub-continent and adjoining states. A failure of Pakistan or Bangladesh or Sri Lanka cannot help India, nor does a terrorist attack on India help any other country by any means. Such acts can destroy progress, wealth and human life only; they cannot bring forth any sort of progress or success.

Yet, the states are unable to provide any secure, peaceful friendly and trustworthy environment and that aborts any try to improve the human life and its standards.

It is very easy to claim that certain brutal minds cause such havoc. Some may blame fundamentalist nature of Islam Taliban and other insurgent groups and to insure safety against such insurgent groups, they will claim strong government is necessary.

So can we say that Pakistan was better under military rule of Pervez Musharraf?

Often people ignore the fact that the real cause of such fissures in intelligence and security system actually signifies the failure of the government system. India is suffering similar failure and nobody has any solution.

Furthermore, when there are inklings that the terrorist have some links in the inner realms of security departments, we cannot expect a proper investigation and a justified trial for the real conspirators and criminals behind the crime.

Overall, the situation is fuzzed up.

The security lapses although can be rectified, yet can any government monopoly provide a proper security system progressive and competitive enough?

With whom will they compete and on what grounds.

Obviously, when they have no solution for the existing problems, they will keep blaming each other in hope of gaining some sort of relief.

Ultimately, it would be the individuals who will need to give up their subjective view point and will have to realize the sanctity of life; they will have to realize the importance of peace, freedom, happiness and they will have to realize the importance to defend themselves too.

Let us hope that apart from engaging in blame games, and announcing restrictive laws on common innocent citizens, these governments will take some positive steps to solve out the problem of terrorism and militancy.

Madam Speaker,

I have a few questions for my colleagues.

What if our foreign policy of the past century is deeply flawed and has not served our national security interests?

What if we wake up one day and realize that the terrorist threat is a predictable consequence of our meddling in the affairs of others and has nothing to do with us being free and prosperous?

What if propping up repressive regimes in the Middle East endangers both the United States and Israel?

What if occupying countries like Iraq and Afghanistan - and bombing Pakistan - is directly related to the hatred directed toward us?

What if someday it dawns on us that losing over 5,000 American military personnel in the Middle East since 9/11 is not a fair trade-off for the loss of nearly 3,000 American citizens, no matter how many Iraqi, Pakistani, and Afghan people are killed or displaced?

What if we finally decide that torture, even if called "enhanced interrogation techniques," is self-destructive and produces no useful information - and that contracting it out to a third world nation is just as evil?

What if it is finally realized that war and military spending is always destructive to the economy?

What if all wartime spending is paid for through the deceitful and evil process of inflating and borrowing?

What if we finally see that wartime conditions always undermine personal liberty?

What if conservatives, who preach small government, wake up and realize that our interventionist foreign policy provides the greatest incentive to expand the government?

What if conservatives understood once again that their only logical position is to reject military intervention and managing an empire throughout the world?

What if the American people woke up and understood that the official reasons for going to war are almost always based on lies and promoted by war propaganda in order to serve special interests?

What if we as a nation came to realize that the quest for empire eventually destroys all great nations?

What if Obama has no intention of leaving Iraq?

What if a military draft is being planned for the wars that will spread if our foreign policy is not changed?

What if the American people learn the truth: that our foreign policy has nothing to do with national security and that it never changes from one administration to the next?

What if war and preparation for war is a racket serving the special interests?

What if President Obama is completely wrong about Afghanistan and it turns out worse than Iraq and Vietnam put together?

What if Christianity actually teaches peace and not preventive wars of aggression?

What if diplomacy is found to be superior to bombs and bribes in protecting America?

What happens if my concerns are completely unfounded - nothing!

What happens if my concerns are justified and ignored - nothing good!

Ron Paul is a republican member of congress from Texas.

‘Obama Robin Hood’

<img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; displayed a likely move by Indian government to oppose Obama lead US government's protectionist initiative move against outsourcing and "contest" against it in World Trade Organization. Often Indians support socialism based mixed economy, now US is turning red it is becoming Socialist. To discourage outsourcing, Obama has announced to not to provide any tax relief to the companies that outsources jobs to other countries. India is the outsourcing hub of the world, so it is obvious that Indian government is worried about the move.
Indian economy is swiftly reaching the extremes of deep turmoil. The export of handicrafts from India reduced by 50% hence it is clear that Indian labour market is in recession, Indians are loosing jobs in foreign countries too and government is already planning to help them out somehow.

Such protectionist moves will further force India to suffer hence Indian government is very likely to voice against such moves by Obama lead US government.

Yet, my question is, Is Indian government morally right to raise such issue?

First of all let me clear out, I am not at all supporting Obama's protectionist tactics.

What Obama is trying to do is to encourage American companies to employ the American workers as the unemployment is increasing sharply in US.

US companies outsources jobs to other countries because they get cheaper, competitive and good work-force outside and hence it provides them greater profits.

To avoid that, Obama is now trying to reduce the profits a company can gain by outsourcing, so that the company may protect the jobs for US citizens.

We can say that it is nothing different the reservation for Americans. That is, although US companies are free to employ workers from other nations and outsource jobs too, they will not get tax reliefs if they do so and that will decrease their profits.

When Indian Commerce and Industry minister Kamal Nath, who is a bigwig of congress, says that India will oppose such protectionist moves, I feel like laughing.

If Indian government really feel that such protectionist moves are wrong and reservation should not be there, why do Indian government support reservations in India?

Just some months ago, Congress lead UPA government was trying to enforce quotas and reservation for schedule tribe, schedule caste, OBC's and others in private sector too, was not that wrong?

How logical it is to force a private company and intervene in its internal matter about whom it should employ and whom it should not?

Sincerely, before opposing Obama, Kamal Nath and whole congress party should mull about and look inside their own pockets, they hold no moral ground to oppose Obama's move. In Fact, Indian government is much more culprit and misplaced with its irrational schemes of reservation.

Obama is hell bent to declare himself as the new Avtar of Robin Hood.

He is seeking some $1 trillion tax increase in budget plan. He is establishing socialism in US, ending any relief for the hopes of freedom and capitalism.

To pay for permanent tax breaks for the lower income group, Obama has proposed $1 trillion to be confiscated from the highest earning US citizens, financiers, multinational corporate, and companies. Obviously, this move makes him feel like Robin Hood the robber.

Now, the lower income group obviously is huge in number, and hence it is potential vote bank too. Thus, looting the rich and distributing it in poor will help Obama in his political career.

I wonder why people cannot understand that by punishing the Job creators, no one can help job seekers. That $1 trillion, which can be used by the rich to create jobs, will be wasted on non-productive-activities again and that will further create ground for the next cycle of recession. Anyways, US new government is hell bent at cutting the roots of richness of US.

Tax is monetary punishment for being rich, for being able to earn an opulent life. Tax is an enforcement which states that you cannot live happily if some other person is not happy, that is, you are allowed to be happy only if the other person who cannot earn as much as you is also happy. Tax is socialism and obviously anti-human.

A rich man can create and provide jobs because he has potential he has money to invest. If government takes that potential out of his hands to distribute it in poor, he looses his potential to create jobs and hence further wealth.

Liberty You should go to court and explain your conduct, explain how you were not committing any crime but just trying to exercise your fundamental right of expression, fight for your right you may win.

Fundamental right of expression! Obama, a youth politician with big plans and hope to bring about a utopian "change", able to give a dream to American youth, that "yes, they can", they can bring about a change to make their wild dreams come true, if Obama leads them, they can see a unicorn in day light ready to ride them to the colourful destiny of equality, free education, free jobs, free food, free healthcare, free and safe water, pollution free power, security against failure, and all a dreamer can dream for.
Ohh yes, dreams come true, they do. America is turning red as fast as it can.
Now the political wave is heating Indian arena, the general election of 2009.
Voters often complains that Indian political frame doesn't provide young politicians full of energy, hope and dreams to bring about the much awaited "change" they look for.
So here are some good news for these voters, here are some young politicians entering in the political arena with a gracious guile looking for the support of voters to bring about that change.
You might have enjoyed Shekhar Suman commenting on political news and analysis each Sunday in his program at Star News "Pol Khol" with his acute sense of humour and presence of mind, clarifying the pictures and putting them in better position.

You might have enjoyed Shekhar Suman judging the comedy skills of Raju Shrivastav too, now when Raju Shrivastava is likely to contest LokSabha election from the side of congress, how will Shekhar Suman project news related to him? Obviously, it will be much more comedy from the sides of Indian parliament.
Well we can expect this much from politicians, to provide us a good comedy show.
I guess it will benefit Indian Television and radio ministry too, as now DD1 may gather more TRP's for its live coverage of parliamentary debates and sessions.
Instead of shoe throwing games, we can expect some Jokes.
Former cricket player Moh. Azharuddin is also set forth to contest in the upcoming election. Congress have invited him to win a seat for them. He was removed from Indian cricket team for some complains of match fixing and corruption.

Munna Bhai MBBS a.k.a Sanjay Dutt already has decided to contest the election for SamajWadi party.
So here is the bait, choose the young famous politicians, and decide the future of democracy.
I wonder if Indians really deserve any better politicians then these, or are there any better politicians then these in whole political spectrum of India?
So true, democracy
If a person supports free-market or free-society, what actually he want to express, whose freedom is he really talking about?

Market and society both are human constructs they actually do not exist.
What exists is Individual, and since he exists, he has a fundamental right, right to exist, right to live.
These entire human construct like society or market (both are same with NO DIFFERENCE) are nothing but result of human endeavour to live free.
Freedom here means freedom of man from men, Individual freedom from group or other man. His freedom his individual right need to be secured and protected and that is the basic principle of any market any society.
If this is not the basic idea basic logic, and basic aim of market or society, than it is a crap market or society and it is deemed to fail and suffer.
About need of contract, society or market and its recognition, it is a contract, a well defined contract.
If the man is alone in this universe, he does not need to define any right; he does not need to construct any idea like society or market.
However, solipsism is not possible, man is not alone, there are other men, and the acceptance of each man to live free, is the contract base of any market any society.
The market or society, which does not recognize this fundamental principle of right to live free and hence other consequential rights, can surely not be free.
That is, if the market is not well regulated with the thread of this basic individual right, then it is neither free nor market nor society nor civilization, it is brutes world!

<img After all, it is election period, no government will feel good about exposing the reality. So, by promoting help packages for foreigners and ignoring Indians who lost job in India, government is playing safe.

Second thing is, the number of job lost can be so high (which obviously have not been displayed yet) that government knows it is useless to talk of any unemployment help package.

In any case, it is good for Indians if government keeps away from the idea of economic stimulus for anyone.

The Emotional Economy plan

<img style="margin: 0px auto 10px;
MOIA, (The Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs), is planning to ponder over an amount of Rs10 crores every year to help such workers. "ET News"

It is just a form of economic stimulus by India to overcome the issue of economic crisis. Let us discuss over it.

Not only those who went away in search of big money better jobs are loosing money, but the Indian compatriots who are dependent on production industry are loosing jobs, to say clearly, India is in huge economic crisis, yet government supported Indian new channels keep showing some fake Osama stories and economic crisis of USA, and other nations, as if India is untouched by any such crisis, and ohh yea why not, after all India is well-regulated mixed economy, how can it crumble. Yet that is not the fact. Indian government has already provided economic stimulus for Indian markets and we have shown that such stimulus will only increase the tenure of crisis.

When compared with huge amounts like Rs2000 crores, these Rs10 crores per year may seem nothing, but ultimately the Indian citizens have to pay these Rs10 crores too, it is a burden on Indian citizens as it will increase Fiscal deficit and put further debt on Indians.

Now let us discuss about Unemployment.

Unemployment is a situation when a worker is not working because either he is not getting any work, or he considers the available works not apt for him, as he is much better than doing those jobs.

It is simply not possible to not get any work, as there always remains a situation to do some work or other to gain an honest living that is what entrepreneurship is.

Yet, if a person is not working because all the available jobs he considers of low standards than what he is capable of, then it is a voluntary unemployment. That is, the worker is not working by his choice.

Consider this, a software engineer who was working in Florida someday ago at an annual package of Rs1.20 crores per annum, is now unemployed. He comes back to India. He can easily get a job in India, but he cannot get same salary package.

He was working at a salary of Rs 1 lakh per month, now he do not want to work for an annual package of Rs 2 lakh 40 thousand per annum, that is Rs15,000 per months.

Since he does not want to work at this lower salary, he is not working it is his own choice. Can we say that he is Unemployed? Yes, well he is voluntary unemployed.

Do we need to help him by any economic plan of say Rs 10 crores per annum (As MOIA is thinking about)? No, when he is not even ready to work for Rs15,000 per annum, why will he agree to beg, and if he really feel that he is in dire situation and he needs money any how, he will start working for Rs15,000 per month or even less.

A poor will be more than enough happy about getting a job of Rs2,000 per month too.

So, why providing any stimulus plan for such workers, who are returning to India because they lost their better salary providing jobs.

Someday ago, when Air India announced that it is planning to send about 15,000 workers on pay-less salaries, political parties opposed the move, but when there is no money to keep those high profile rich salary jobs, how is it possible to keep maintaining those jobs? It is simply a bad investment or "Non-Productive-Asset".

Only such Malinvestment and "Non-productive assets" actually increases economic burden and causes economic crisis.

Thus, MOIA is not planning to "help" some returnees from foreign, but it is planning to sustain economic crisis, and why is it doing so?
"Much of the money would go for victims of the recession in the form of food stamps, unemployment compensation and health care."
(Economic Times)

First of all, the question is, why will a person opt to go for work if he is getting free health care, and unemployment compensation?

Now, some of the workers were getting huge salaries, can government provide them same salaries? No, it will provide some money based on minimum possible need program.

If it is not provided, may a person go for looking job of some other kind, he may innovate ways to cope with new situations, but government do not want him to think.

Now the question is, when Obama is proposing $819 billion stimulus plan, which may well go to 1 trillion, from where is all this money coming from?

1> government will publish new currency notes/Dollars.

In that case, government is not making any wealth, it will again increase inflation and things will remain as it is. No improvement.

2> Government may tax more on those who are yet working and earning. Ahh so what will it make? More poor, More hungry? How will a poor hungry man provide job to another hungry/poor man?

By doing so, Obama will just decrease the potential of Americans to provide jobs for fellow Americans.

Now the thing is, US is already in huge fiscal deficits, and debt. With new stimulus plan, Americans will be indebted with further huge deficits, which they will have to pay back somehow, otherwise more world tensions, and wars will take place, more terrorism will spread its wings.

In anyways, Obama's stimulus plan is going to take US further downhill to the oblivions of mystery, loot, slavery and socialism.

By the way, I heard a bill to be passed which suggests that American companies should remove foreign workers first rather than removing American workers, now that is protectionism, the American Patriot Economic plan. May be it was a way to gather attention.
What if a common man and his wife are taken in police custody by the government police just because they were kissing alongside a railway station?
That is how the world's largest democracy works. You need to look before expressing your most honest and legitimate emotions. Police may call it obscene you know, police decides what is moral and what Indian culture is.
The good thing is Court dismissed any sort of criminal proceeding against the couple, yes the married couple. At least Indian court allows a man to kiss his wife, yet Police may beat a man's ass for doing so.
Yet, courts are also not so flexible, an Israeli couple was fined $22 for kissing after getting married in a Hindu ceremony in Rajasthan. Can you believe this? A newly married husband cannot kiss the wife in India, because it is India.
We can conveniently pee near bushes and other public places kisses by even married couples is not allowed.
Is it the problem of those saffron brands or is this the problem of well-educated next generation youth of India, the same youngistan?
In 2004, when some college students of Bangalore were interviewed, most of the male students expressed their opposition to Public Displays of Affection (PDA) while most of the girls were in favour of it. Yes, Indian girls are more open minded about the issue.
It is not only about kissing; people do not support public hugging between girls and boys too. Ahh boys cannot give "Jaddu ki Jhappi" to girls, sorry Munnabhai!
When Ram Sena attacked public pubs in Mangalore, all blamed the saffron group, yet in comments to Times of India Editor desk in 2007, most of young educated Indians with no connection of saffron group were opposing the idea of pub, smooching, kissing hugging in public places.
Is that why the kissing dragon Emran Hashmi being praised by some Indians? He may bring some "revolution" in India regarding Public Display of Affection.
The question is, is kissing really alien to Indians?
Historical facts suggest that Indians discovered the art of smooching and kissing.
Four Vedic Sanskrit texts, written in India around 1500 B.C., appear to describe people kissing.
In Mahabharat, kissing on lips is described as sign of affection, Vatsyayana Kamasutram, (Kamasutra) also describes variety of kisses. I am sure most of the Indians do not realize it now. Yet, the problem is not about kissing, it is about Public Display of Affection.
It is none of other's business what people do in their private life, but everybody started getting the pinch of salt if it is a public display of affection. Obviously it describes the importance of private property again.
For most of the people, watching Public Display of Affection becomes either amusing or embarrassing because Indian's are still not used to it. If a girl goes with a boy, taking his hand in hers on roads, everybody will stare.
Not all think it is wrong, immoral, or even disturbing. Watching couples, including newly-weds holding their hands or putting their arms around each other makes one feel happy, happy about the happiness and satisfaction of life, about the idea that all is going well. Even elder Indians does not think it is very forward or awkward when a recently wed-couple hold hands and walk in public places, one may see many old couples too walking in public gardens holding their hands together gossiping about their old days, ohh yea the dearly oldie love stories of their passed young life. Yet, if some young couple do the same in front of those old couple in public, they may feel embarrassed, disturbed, or disrespected?
In Indian colleges, girls and boys may suffer harsh punishment including suspensions if they are found roaming around with each other with necking or kissing each other.
Not all colleges are like that; Jaipur MNIT was not like that. I know it was full of full of Romeos and Juliets, some of them are married couples now. That's how life goes, guys and girls attracts, kisses, have sex, marries and make a good beautiful happy satisfied couple.
Anyways, let us think for a while, what makes kissing or smooching in public place a crime? Why should police need to arrest the couples kissing in public place? The same police which is just ineffective in every other department, why does it start showing its efficiencies in harassing honest innocent citizens.
Kissing in public is not at all an offence, not even of the type of victimless offence.
Yet all cultures, not all countries provide similar liberties to the individuals.
Now here is the hypocrisy, the same Indians who usually enjoy the boldness of the opportunity to diplay their affection publicly when they go outside India, may not support idea of PDA in India.
India is a country which provides liberty to pee here and there and spit gutkhas out there on roads, bus stands and railway stations. Yet one cannot display any sort of affection to the one he loves on the same railway station.
One can guess why the rigid irrational common legal ideas about date rapes can become extreme tyranny in India.

So why do I like Ron Paul

Because he dares to live Honestly, because he dares to speak the truth.
Because he is not a power vulture and he doesn't compromise on the ethics and rationality.

Because he is simply great, because he is LIBERTARIAN

Related read- It was the first evidence that the imaginary of society was loosing grips over the Individual, and Individual was struggling for his Independence, his own freedom. That was the importance of Bal Ganga Dhar Tilak's call for self-governance. When he said "Swaraj Mera janmsiddh Adhikar hai" (Self-governance is my birth right), He obviously did not mean that he wanted to take power away from British rulers to become the ruler of India himself. He strictly meant that he recognizes no government over him, and self-governance of his own life on his own voluntary terms is his birth right.
Before talking of "Birth Right" we must understand the term "Right" what does it mean.

A right is the moral standard, which allows a man's freedom to act in a social premise.

There can be only one fundamental right and that is, a man's right to own his life to be free of any obligation to not to be a birth-slave to anybody. All other rights are just the consequences or results of this fundamental right, the right of an Individual to own his life. Life is a self-generated actions, the right to own one's life is to self-governance oneself, to be free to take all the actions required by the nature of a thinking man to support, progress, aspire, fulfil and enjoy his own life. Such is the meaning of Self-Governance, or Swaraj. As Bal Gangadhar Tilak stated, it is a birth right.

Self-governance means freedom of action, freedom from any sort of physical coercion, compulsion or intrusion by other men, or society. Thus, the right of freedom, of Self-Governance means a moral allowance of a positive kind for an Individual to act freely on his voluntary judgment, for his chosen goals, by un-coerced choice. His actions cannot be restrictive to other individual of the society, as all have this right of Self-Governance.

Every other consecutive rights of the right of self-governance are the rights of actions to lead a free life. Freedom of speech, expression, and even the right to property, is the right of action. Right to property is not a right to an object, it is a right to act to earn that object, or to create it.

In 1947, there happened a shift of ruling power from British government to a democratic government of India, chosen by the will of political freedom. Thus, Indians acquired a political right on 15th of August 1947.

Political freedom means the freedom to gather or attach with any political party freely without any physical coercion. It certainly was the first step towards the Individual Freedom, the sovereignty and Self-Governance of an Individual.

Yet, India was not freed, it remained under an amendable constitution based on which, the government rule was applied on Individuals, neglecting their Birth right of Self-Governance and making up a social right base instead of Individual Right base, hence forcing the Individual to sacrifice for the so-called imaginary good of imaginary society.

Right to equality

Right to freedom

Right against exploitation

Right to freedom of Religion

Cultural and educational rights

Right to constitutional remedies

Right to equality certifies that the state cannot discriminate against anyone on the basis of caste, creed, colour, sex, religion or place of birth. Yet, constitution itself provided powers to the state to discriminate people on the basis of caste and sex by allowing state to divide people and rule over them by playing "reservation game". Since India never accepted an Individual's right to property, he always remained a slave of government, and hence government became a legitimate owner of whatever a Man earns or produce, he has no right on whatever he creates. First, he needs permission to create and then a permission to enjoy his creation. (see here)

There is a right to freedom, yet it is bound with emotional restrictions. Since there is no property right, No one can say or express anything, which may hurt societal emotions, there is censorship which only government can enforce.

Thus, even after gaining Independence from foreign rulers, Indian were enslaved with the majority rule of society where every Individual is enforced and coerced to "sacrifice" his life. No one got any right to Self-Governance which Bal Gangadhar Tilak aspired as their Birth Right. While the socialist leaders of India kept increasing the list of various rights to delude Individuals. It became a collectivist tyranny.

Collectivist rulers do not enslave a country by confiscating its values, material or moral. The collectivists proceed through internal corruption, to make Individual sacrifice his existence and to suffer. It provides a fake sense of "rights". In the cloud of these rights, the fundamental right of Self-Governance is negated and mystified.

Economic Crisis and Solution

Ron Paul on Economic Crisis--

“We got here by spending too much money, borrowing too much money, and inflating too much money — with the Federal Reserve too involved in central economic planning through the manipulation of interest rates, and the congress passing too many regulations. As long as we think that’s benign and has nothing to do with it, then I guess it seems very logical that we come up by spending more money, borrowing more money, printing more money, and writing more regulations - and think that we’re going to get different results.

It seems to me today that the big argument is who the central economic planner is. Is it the treasury, or is it the congress, is the FDIC, is it the federal reserve? Believe me, central economic planning doesn’t work - that’s why we’re in this mess.

If we’re looking for a solution, we have to have liquidation of debt. We don’t want to prop up the bad debt. The problem was created by bad policy.
